Naive? I don’t think he is naive. He is complicit. He is trying to give Putin credibility but he has no credibility of his own to sell the lies.

Shared infrastructure is how the #Fediverse can grow without recreating enshittified platform silos.
We’re excited to share that Bonfire is working with Mastodon on two critical areas of Fediverse infrastructure: remote media storage and automated content detection.
Built around open Fediverse Auxiliary Service Provider (FASP) specifications, this work will help platforms connect to shared services instead of each having to build and operate the same capabilities alone.
Our aim is to make these capabilities open, interoperable, and available for any federated server to adopt.

Neighbor search in high-dimensional space is fucking rocket-science, and there is no current definitive answer to it.
But I can assure you, whatever a viable algorithm might be, it is not a) searching the dataset sequentially, or b) graphically rendering each face it is processing w/its matchpoints.
@GeePawHill pretty sure rockets only operate in, like, three or four dimensions and that seems hard enough already
